As a teenager, my Grandmother Aughtire taught me how to sew. Every Saturday, we would go to the fabric store, cut patterns, prep fabric, baste stitch, machine sew, and generally make magic. I made a shirt, a reversible vest, and a pair pants. I loved those clothes because I made them.
This Christmas I received a sewing machine....and, I'm itching to make more than just a fashion statement! I've already started by making a pair of pj pants. The picture above (we'll call it - Workstation #1 Ironing board & Iron) has the fabric and pattern --> this was before I cut the fabric. I'll be sure to post a picture of the finished product.
Stay tuned & Needles up,
Always Audrey
