Inspiration from Metrostyle

I need to add a basic long wool coat to my wardrobe....
Now, I just need to make it!  LOL!

    that looks a lot like the pattern I just bought yesterdy, I've never made a coat so we'll see if I get brave enough to step out of my comfort zone lol! can't wait to see yours!

      I've never made a coat before either.... I know I hate going into stores seeing filmsy over-priced coats.

    I'd like to do the same thing as well. One of my goals for this summer is to make a full-length wool coat complete with interlining for warmth. Do you have any patterns in mind?

      I have V1320 Issey Miyake "Easy" Coat. I've been looking for some clearance/discount wool fabric, so that I can make a muslin. I know I'll need a coat for the coming winter....
